Pay Rate: $40-$50/hr (depending on experience)
Pay Type: Salary with weekly guarantee

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level / Master Automotive Technician for a well-established, full-service shop in Parma, OH. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles

  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance-related issues accurately and efficiently

  • Complete repairs on a wide range of systems, including engine, suspension, steering, brakes, and alignment-related concerns

  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle problems

  • Document findings clearly using the shop management system and digital vehicle inspections

  • Collaborate with teammates and service staff to keep workflow moving and deliver a strong customer experience

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area

  • Stay current with training and evolving automotive technology

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as an automotive technician

  • Strong heavy diagnostic ability is required

  • ASE A1-A8 certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain them

  • Experience in either a dealership or independent shop environment

  • Ability to work independently and consistently produce 40+ billed hours per week

  • Familiarity with domestic, Asian, and some European vehicles

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

  • $40-$50/hr based on experience and skill level FLAT RATE

  • Bi-weekly pay schedule
