Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $25 – $48/hr (Flat Rate + Weekly Guarantee)

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A-Level or high B+ Automotive Technician for a well-established, family-run repair shop in Conshohocken, PA. This is a full-time Monday–Friday role (no weekends!) where skilled technicians can focus on what they do best: diagnosing problems, fixing cars right the first time, and occasionally saving the day for the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostics and mechanical repairs on all makes and models

  • Complete Pennsylvania State Inspections and related safety checks

  • Repair and service major vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and drivetrain

  • Keep bays productive and jobs moving efficiently throughout the day

  • Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed (because everyone remembers who helped them early on)

  • Communicate clearly with the Service Manager regarding estimates, repair progress, and parts needs

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional shop experience as an Automotive Technician

  • Valid Pennsylvania State Inspection License (Required)

  • ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Proven ability to perform efficiently in a flat-rate environment

  • Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor less experienced technicians

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a tight-knit team

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
