Location: Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (3-day weekends every week)

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a B Level Automotive Technician for a highly respected, award-winning shop in Harrisburg, PA. This is a rare 4-day workweek opportunity — meaning you get three-day weekends every single week, not just when the schedule “works out.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Domestic, Asian, and some European vehicles

  • Handle brake, suspension, and steering repairs with confidence

  • Use modern scan tools (Autel, Snap-On) and complete DVIs through Tekmetric

  • Work closely with service advisors and apprentices to keep workflow efficient

  • Help train and mentor junior technicians (pay it forward — someone helped you once too)

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Deliver high-quality repairs with attention to detail and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician (B-Level preferred)

  • Ability to complete most repairs independently

  • Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • PA State Inspection License REQUIRED

  • ASE certifications preferred (shop will help you earn them)

  • Positive, team-first attitude with leadership potential

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
