Automotive Technician B Level – Up to $80K+ Potential – No Weekends
Location: Sparta, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; no weekends
Pay Rate: $30 – $34/hour during the initial 60-day evaluation period (Depending on Experience)
Pay Type: Hourly during evaluation; guaranteed weekly pay plus production compensation after successful completion

Introduction
We are seeking an experienced B Level Automotive Technician in Sparta, NJ. This is a busy, established repair facility servicing cars, light- and medium-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, and gasoline and diesel platforms. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, weekly pay, and strong production earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform brakes, steering, suspension, cooling system, timing belt, and general mechanical repairs
- Complete larger mechanical and engine-related repairs
- Perform light-to-moderate diagnostics using scan tools
- Service cars, trucks, fleet vehicles, and gasoline and diesel platforms
- Perform tire service, wheel alignments, maintenance, and digital inspections
- Document findings in Tekmetric and work with the Service Advisor to maintain workflow
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair shop experience required
- Strong B Level general repair and basic diagnostic skills
- Able to work independently across multiple makes and models
- Comfortable working on both cars and trucks
- Own standard professional technician hand tools
- Demonstrated reliability and productivity
ASE certifications are not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Approximately $30 – $34/hour during the initial 60-day evaluation period (depending on experience)
- After successful completion, approximately $1,200-$1,300 weekly guarantee plus production compensation beginning at 30.1 billed hours (Depending on Experience / Skills)
- Target earning potential of approximately $78,000-$80,000+ annually; actual earnings depend on the final pay plan and production (Depending on Experience / Skills)
