Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Pay: $35 – $45 per hour (Hourly – Not Flat Rate)
Expected Hours: ~40 hours per week
Estimated Annual Earnings: $100K+ with quarterly bonuses

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced European Automotive Technician (A Level or Master Technician) for a highly respected independent European repair shop in West End, North Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who specializes in European vehicles like Porsche, Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo and enjoys deep diagnostic work. Technicians here earn $35–$45/hr hourly (not flat rate) plus quarterly profit-sharing bonuses, while working a healthy schedule with no weekends and early Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on European vehicles including Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo

  • Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM-level scan tools and diagnostic software

  • Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, drivetrain, engine systems, and electrical systems

  • Conduct thorough digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) and document repair recommendations

  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service procedures

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold professional shop standards

  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience

  • Strong experience working on European vehicles (dealer or independent shop preferred)

  • Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability

  • Experience with brands such as Porsche, VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Volvo

  • OE certifications preferred (ASE certifications not required)

  • Professional shop experience required (mobile-only experience not considered)

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical reasoning
