A/B Level Automotive Technician – Japanese Vehicle Specialist
Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No Weekends)
Salary Range: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on experience, knowledge, and self-sufficiency)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated, well-rounded A/B Level Automotive Technician with extensive experience working on Japanese vehicles. This is an opportunity to work in a clean, professional environment where quality and efficiency are rewarded.
You’ll handle everything from routine maintenance and service work to advanced diagnostics and R&R (removal and replacement) work.
What You’ll Do

Perform thorough inspections in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards

Complete service, repair, R&R, and advanced diagnostic work

Work primarily on:

Toyota

Lexus

Subaru
-
Mazda
-
Honda
-
Acura
-
Nissan
-
Infiniti
(Strong, demonstrable experience required)

Diagnose and repair domestic and European vehicles as needed

Utilize AllData and other technical resources to interpret and follow service procedures

Clearly document findings in our shop management system

Communicate detailed findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor

Maintain a clean, organized work bay

Uphold high standards of professionalism and workmanship
What You Bring
-
10+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Japanese vehicles (required)

Comprehensive set of tools appropriate for modern vehicle repair

Strong working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and scan tools

ASE Certifications and/or California State Smog License (highly preferred)

Hybrid and EV system knowledge (strong plus)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
