B-Level Automotive Technician
A well-established, third-generation automotive business is opening a brand-new 6-bay shop in Butler, PA and is looking for a solid B-Level Technician who enjoys real work, real teamwork, and room to grow.
This is not a flat-rate grind or a shop where the A-techs cherry-pick the good jobs. This role is for a technician who likes staying busy, taking pride in their work, and being part of a team that’s building something from the ground up.
What You’ll Be Doing
This technician will handle a strong mix of everyday mechanical work and intermediate repairs, including:
-
Tires, brakes, alignments, inspections, and emissions
-
Suspension and steering work (CV axles, racks, etc.)
-
A/C repairs like condenser replacement
-
Timing chains and mid-level mechanical jobs
The workload is steady and realistic — perfect for a B-tech who wants to stay productive without being buried in diagnostics all day.
Who They’re Looking For
-
A true B-Level Technician (not an entry-level lube tech, not a burned-out A-tech)
-
Comfortable handling core services independently
-
Willing to jump in wherever needed
-
Someone who takes pride in productivity, quality, and teamwork
-
Motivated to grow as the mechanical side of the business continues to expand
Pay & Incentives
-
$25–$35/hour base pay (based on experience)
-
Commission on labor (2.5% of labor gross profit)
-
Productivity multiplier — higher output = higher commission
-
Stable hourly base plus upside for techs who like to hustle
This shop rewards efficiency without sacrificing quality.
Benefits & Perks
