Monday – Friday with Rotating On Call Schedule

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Road Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working in the shop and handling mobile service/road calls. The ideal candidate has strong diesel repair experience, takes initiative, and thrives in both independent and team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-shop and roadside repairs on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment

  • When you are not out on the road, you will be in the shop working on diesels!

  • Handle scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service calls

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, emissions systems, and other critical components

  • Partner with the service team to ensure quick turnaround and high-quality workmanship

  • Rotate on-call schedule for afterhours and weekend support (no tire repairs roadside)

  • Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner using shop systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a B-Level Technician (diesel experience required)

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, trailers, and related systems

  • Road service experience a plus

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

  • Ability to work independently in roadside situations as well as in a shop environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $25 – $50/hour depending on experience

Work Environment

  • Hours: 7am – 5pm & Rotating On Call 

  • Weekly Car Count: 100–150

  • Shop: 11 bays with full lifts, Hunter alignment rack, advanced scan tools, and shop management software

  • Average Technician Hours: 40+ per week
