Collision Instructor – Shape the Future of Auto Repair!

Under the guidance of the Dean of Academic Affairs, our Collision Instructor plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of automotive professionals. With a mix of hands-on training, classroom instruction, and real-world application, this position is perfect for an industry pro looking to share their expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Engaging Instruction: Bring collision repair to life with interactive lessons, hands-on training, and high-energy teaching techniques.
Guiding Future Techs: Train students on industry standards, safety procedures, and advanced repair techniques using top-tier tools and technology.

Hands-On Learning: Oversee laboratory sessions, ensuring students master the use of industry-standard equipment while staying safe.
Grading & Feedback: Evaluate classwork, tests, and practical assignments to help students fine-tune their skills.
Mentorship & Support: Provide students with guidance, career advice, and the motivation they need to succeed.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday (No Fridays? No weekends? Yes, please!)
– Hours:

  • Two days: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Two days: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

– Breaks:

  • Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
  • Dinner: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

– Daily Flow:

  • Morning Classes: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Office Hours (Non-Teaching): 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Evening Classes (Two Days Per Week): 6:00 PM – 9:45 PM

What You Bring to the Table:

– High School Diploma, Certificate, or Associate’s Degree (or higher!)
– 3+ years of hands-on experience in the collision industry
– Familiarity with vehicle maintenance & diesel technology
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Knowledge of Gmail, MS Word, and Canvas (or willingness to learn!)
– ASE Certifications (B2, B3, B4, B5) preferred – or willingness to earn them on a set timeline
