We are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruiter to join our expanding team. This person will be responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for various job openings with our clients in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for identifying talent, and a proven track record of successful recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Use various methods to identify and attract potential candidates such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networking sites, referrals, and direct sourcing to identify and attract potential candidates.

  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidates based on qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

  • Conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person) to assess candidates’ suitability for specific positions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Keep them informed about the status of their application, provide feedback, and address their queries.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any questions or concerns.

  • Perform reference checks, employment history verification, and background checks in compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Collaborate with account managers to evaluate candidates and make informed selection decisions.

  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms and conditions, including salary, benefits, and start date.

  • Coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports, including candidate pipelines, sourcing methods, and recruitment metrics.

  • Contribute to employer branding efforts by representing the organization positively and promoting its values, culture, and opportunities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and selection.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting, staffing or sales experience, preferably cold call experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

  • Willingness to “cold call” and prospect new candidates over the phone; comfortable using Social Media for marketing & candidate attraction

  • Self-Confident, motivated, persistent and a skilled negotiator

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and potential.

  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well, with support

  • Passionate about cultivating & maintaining relationships with candidates & clients

  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities

  • Self-motivated to meet & exceed goals and expectations

  • Basic Knowledge of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, and selection processes.

  • Preferred experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary of $40,000, with uncapped commissions and performance-based bonuses. Total compensation potential of up to $100,000 annually for those who meet or exceed targets.
